- Location: Stuart, Florida 33496 (local candidates only please)
- On-site/Full-time Monday through Friday with ability to work extended hours if business calls for it (e.g., busy season deadline, client needs, etc.
- Compensation: $140,0000 to $150,000 salary (commensurate with experience) plus discretionary bonus eligibility and comprehensive benefits
- Prior to hire: background check
Responsibilities –
Tax Manager (public accounting sector):
- Interact with clients & Firm team members to provide innovative, proactive individual & business tax planning, consulting, and compliance services in a timely / effective manner
- Ensure complete client & team satisfaction through open communication, managing deadlines and proactively sharing tax savings strategies
- Work closely with Partners, Directors, Senior Managers and staff on client management, professional development, and business development activities
- Supervise & lead Associate and Senior Associate team members to manage responsibilities and deadlines on client engagements
- Develop skills to attract new clients and market the company's services and products and facilitate expansion of business with existing clients
- Keep abreast of any legislative or professional changes, and consulting with clients on potential implications
- Participate in Client development through networking events and professionally represent the firm in the business community
- Display continual commitment to the Firm's Culture and Values and Client Service Principles
- Demonstrate a level of communication skills, intuitive skills and resourcefulness that encourages others to follow and develop the same skills
Qualifications –
Tax Manager (public accounting sector):
- REQUIRED: xhyhwjd active CPA license (law degree a plus)
- REQUIRED: 4+ years' previous public accounting experience with a strong concentration in tax including corporate, partnership, individual, trust & estate planning, and resolving complex tax issues
- Specialization & experience in both individual and business tax returns, with concentration in flow through entities
- Working knowledge of various accounting software
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work effectively with all the internal team and clients
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
