DOWNSTREAM TECHNICIAN

Monday - Friday

2:00 pm - 10:30 pm

$19.55 per hour

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Perform packaging, labeling, and final visual quality inspection of all products produced on assigned production lines
• Conduct accurate counts and record quantities produced to ensure line efficiency
• Partner closely with Line Operators during start-ups, shutdowns, and tooling changeovers
• Set up, operate, and maintain downstream equipment according to standard operating procedures
• Ensure product quality and adherence to specifications and packaging requirements
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, consistently using required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to production, safety, and housekeeping
• Identify and report equipment or quality issues promptly to minimize downtime
• Assist in maintaining production flow and meeting established production goals

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous industrial or manufacturing experience preferred but not required
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, and lift for extended periods during 8–12 hour shifts
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with fluctuating temperatures
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality
• Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team
• Basic math and measurement skills required
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed
