Founded in 2000, the firm offers the legal expertise of its 120+ plus attorneys, who have accumulated experience and problem-solving skills over decades of practice.We are a vibrant, busy, and growing full-service law firm and looking to increase to its talented ranks of attorneys by adding an Associate Attorney with a demonstrated interest and experience of 2-5 years in Corporate Transactions.Successful CandidateThe successful candidate must have experience with drafting, reviewing, and negotiating NDAs, commercial sales, evaluation of vendor agreements, familiar with mergers and acquisitions, etc. The candidate must be comfortable providing advice and negotiation support to clients regarding contractual provisions, compliance, risk mitigation, and assessment. They must be able to think critically and on their feet; MUST have demonstrated excellent written and oral communication skills and ability to communicate concisely and persuasively; be personable and frequently meet with and interact with clients. They must have a strong work ethic and be a true team player who is genuinely interested in working in a supportive and collaborative environment.What You Will Need To Have:Juris Doctor degree (J.D.) from an accredited law schoolLicensed to practice law in New York.2-5 years of experience with Corporate Transactions.Ability to build rapport with clients.Experience in Transactional Law.Demonstrated ability to be flexible, work independently with limited oversight and prioritize work tasks in an effective manner.Proven ability to creatively accomplish organization goals while assessing and managing legal risk.Collaborative with a can-do attitude balanced with the ability to gracefully communicate difficult messages.Comfortable working with all levels of business professionals, including senior management and all colleagues at other departments in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency with Microsoft SuiteThis position is based out of Lake Success, NYBenefits: 401k, Medical, Dental, Life Insurance, PTO and more!Salary Range: $125k-$165k- commensurate with experience.
