Chief Operating Officer

Job Summary: The Chief Operating Officer is an executive role in charge of overseeing the day-to-day operational functions of a business, including staffing, administration and operational functions of the business. This role involves strategic planning, scheduling, execution, and collaboration across all departments to ensure all people are in the correct position for Feldmeier to be most successful. Essential Functions of Position: Designing and implementing business strategies, plans and procedures. Setting comprehensive goals for performance and growth. Effectively managing the project managers to ensure the successful delivery of projects. Develop program plans, including timelines and milestones. Establishing policies that promote company culture and visions. Cross department collaboration to reach overall success. Working with managers to create strategies to maximize production and create the most efficiency and accuracy within scheduling. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in business or related field. 5-7 years’ experience within a management role, preferably within a manufacturing company. Strong problem solving and critical thinking abilities. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Must be willing to travel locally and overnight to other facilities as needed. Multiple years of Experience with Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP) Preferred Qualifications: Project Management Professional certification or degree in business analytics 5+ years of experience as a program manager Proven experience as Chief Operating Officer or relevant role Demonstrates competency in strategic planning and business development Excellent interpersonal skills and public speaking skills Aptitude in decision-making and problem solving Physical Requirements: Ability to stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours per day.
