Job Title: Production Associate

Job Description

The Production Associate supports the manufacturing of PCB and PCBA boards by operating and monitoring automated equipment, assembling completed boards into server boxes, and performing basic quality checks. This role involves working across surface mount technology (SMT), PTH insertion, and final assembly areas in a clean, climate-controlled electronics manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Load blank PCB and PCBA boards into SMT machines and monitor SMT production lines for consistent operation.
• Load, unload, and change out component reels and carts on SMT machines, including stopping machines, threading reels, and restarting equipment safely.
• Transition boards from the SMT line to the PTH insertion line and ensure continuous feeding of component reels into PTH machines.
• Monitor and maintain solder paste levels and support the wave soldering process to secure components to boards.
• Take completed PCB and PCBA boards and mount them into server boxes following detailed build sheets displayed on computer screens.
• Use hand and power tools to secure assemblies accurately and safely according to specifications.
• Lift and load completed server boxes (up to 30 lbs) into server test equipment and run pass/fail tests.
• Sort and place tested server boxes into designated pass or fail areas based on test results.
• Document the movement and status of completed boxes accurately in the required tracking systems.
• Follow written and verbal instructions in English to meet production, quality, and safety standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and comply with ESD (electrostatic discharge) procedures, including use of required smocks and heel straps.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mount Pleasant, WI.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
