Hearing Care Coordinator - Franklin, NC Location: Charlotte, NC 6414 Rea Rd. Place outbound calls to current and former patients for scheduling follow‑up hearing tests and consultations. Collect patient intake forms and maintain files/notes. Schedule and confirm patient appointments. Complete benefit checks and authorization for each patient’s insurance. Provide first‑level support to patients, answer questions, check patients in/out, and process payments. Process repairs under direct supervision of a licensed Hearing Care Professional. Prepare bank deposits and submit daily reports to finance. Possess general sales knowledge for accessories and patient support. Process patient orders, receive all orders, verify pickup, input information into system. Clean and maintain equipment and instruments. Submit equipment and facility requests. Perform general office duties, including cleaning. Manage inventory, order/monitor stock, and submit supply orders as needed. Assist with event planning and logistics for at least one community outreach event per month. Education High School Diploma or equivalent. Associate’s degree preferred. Industry/Product Knowledge Prior experience/knowledge with hearing aids is a plus. Skills & Abilities Professional verbal and written communication. Strong relationship-building skills with patients, physicians, clinical staff. Experience with Microsoft Office and Outlook. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations. EMR/EHR experience a plus. Work Experience 2+ years in a health care environment preferred. Previous customer service experience required.
