Pharmacy Technician

Prepare non-sterile compounded medications, including creams, capsules, troches, suppositories and suspensions, from prescriptions and master formulation records Weigh, measure and mix ingredients accurately in line with USP standards Complete batch records and compounding documentation accurately and on time Keep the compounding lab clean, organized and inspection-ready Label, package and stage finished preparations for pharmacist verification Support wider pharmacy workflow as needed, including prescription entry, phones and patient pick-ups Work closely with pharmacists and the compounding team to meet daily production and turnaround targets Job Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Active Virginia pharmacy technician registration, or the ability to obtain one Non-sterile compounding experience strongly preferred; retail or hospital technicians looking to move into compounding will be considered Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy over speed Reliable, punctual and dependable as part of a small team Positive, coachable attitude and willingness to pitch in across the pharmacy PTCB or ExCPT certification, or sterile/cleanroom experience (USP ), a plus #J-18808-Ljbffr Barrington James
