Phlebotomist-Client Office
Labcorp
Labcorp seeks a phlebotomist for client office work in Lafayette, Georgia. The role involves collecting blood specimens, processing patient information, and delivering customer service in a Monday-Thursday schedule with possible Saturday shifts.
Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection for all age groups
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol testing
- Enter patient data accurately and maintain specimen information logs
- Prepare specimens for testing and handle billing and payment collection
- Provide customer service and perform administrative duties; travel to additional sites as needed
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Phlebotomy certification or completed accredited training program
- Minimum 2 years phlebotomist experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Reliable transportation and ability to pass color blindness test
- Proven track record delivering exceptional customer service
