Responsibilities
- Provide unit-based leadership and supervision of nursing and ancillary staff on the assigned unit.
- Collaborate with the Nurse Manager/Director, physicians, and staff to develop and revise individualized care plans, ensuring safe, high-quality, cost-effective patient care and outcomes.
- Direct and monitor nursing activities; participate in patient care as needed to maintain care quality and patient safety.
- Conduct rounds to assess patient care needs, introduce self to patients and families, and solicit feedback to improve the patient experience.
- Support quality improvement initiatives and advance patient- and family-centered care with attention to cultural diversity and individual needs.

Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse license in California (state of practice)
- BLS, NRP, and PALS required (AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS; AHA-NRP or ARC-NRP accepted)
- BSN required; Master’s degree preferred
- Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience; five years’ technical experience preferred
- Supervisory experience or demonstrated supervisory skills required; prior Charge RN experience and high-risk delivery experience required
- Ability to work night shift (1830–0700) and 3x12 schedule; strong communication and teamwork skills
