Core Responsibilities

• Perform an array of ultrasound exams, encompassing abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during examinations, articulating each phase with understanding and patience
• Engage in close collaboration with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure high-quality diagnostic imagery
• Manage and maintain imaging machinery, promptly addressing any malfunctions
• Meticulously document procedures and maintain patient records within the electronic medical record system
• Stay abreast of advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and standards

Educational Credentials

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Required Certifications

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent entity
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
