This medical center is a well-established community hospital serving the Northwoods region of Wisconsin, providing essential inpatient and emergency services to the surrounding area. The facility features a 25-bed department with a supportive team environment and is designated as a Level 3 trauma center.

Opportunity:
Physician Assistant - Hospitalist

Job Details:

• Provide hospitalist coverage on a 1 week on, 1 week off schedule
• Manage 10-12 patient encounters per shift in a 25-bed department
• Must hold an active Wisconsin license or IMLC licensure to be considered
• Board certification required at the certified level
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Estimated credentialing timeframe is approximately 90 days
• Nearest airports include Rhinelander Airport and Central WI Airport
• Lodging options include Holiday Inn Express in Rhinelander or Best Western in Woodruff
• Assignment begins November 4, 2026 on an ongoing basis

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
