Boqueria® Restaurant- 1460 2nd Ave, New York, NY 10075 As a porter/dishwasher, it will be your mission at Boqueria® to ensure that your restaurant's kitchen and dining areas are always properly cleaned. You will provide our guests with spotless cutlery, plates, and glassware. In addition, you'll keep pots, pans, and kitchen tools clean and ready at all times for the line cooks to create delicious dishes for our guests. Boqueria® is one of the leading Spanish tapas restaurant groups on the East Coast, with 10 locations in NYC, DC, Chicago, Nashville, Boston & West Hartford, and an 11thopening in Atlanta in Fall 2024. Boqueria is a lively tapas bar, inspired by the buzzy atmosphere and great food of the Barcelona "Kioskos" surrounding the renowned food market "El Mercado de la Boqueria." At Boqueria®, the open kitchens turn out tempting versions of classic Spanish tapas and small plates inspired by the season's best products. Skills & Requirements Qualifications
- Availalble to work weekends and nights
- 16-18 hours per week
- A positive attitude; you tackle every task with a smile
- Team player; you have your team's back, and they have yours
- Attention to detail; you'll make sure every dish is spotless
- Can stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs., bend, reach and twist.
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Work with great people who love hospitality
