Quality Co-op

We're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Co-op to join our Quality Assurance team, supporting product quality and continuous improvement efforts across the packaging operation. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in brewery quality systems, product evaluation, troubleshooting, and cross-functional collaboration within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Working alongside Quality Assurance professionals, packaging operators, and Line Structure Team members, you'll play an important role in ensuring product quality while developing technical and problem-solving skills essential to a career in manufacturing and quality. This position is part of our 6-month Co-op Program, running from January 4, 2027, through June 25, 2027. The role is fully onsite at our Breinigsville Brewery location, with team members expected to work five days per week from our Breinigsville Brewery.Key ResponsibilitiesQuality Assurance SupportPerform quality checks on products throughout the packaging process to ensure compliance with company quality standards.Monitor packaging line performance and identify potential quality concerns.Assist with collecting, documenting, and reporting quality data.Problem Solving & Continuous ImprovementWork closely with packaging operators and Line Structure Team members to identify, investigate, and resolve quality issues.Participate in troubleshooting activities and contribute to root cause analysis efforts.Support quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing product consistency and operational efficiency.Documentation & CommunicationClearly and accurately document quality observations, test results, and issues identified during production.Communicate findings and recommendations to Quality Assurance and Operations teams.Assist with maintaining quality records and supporting compliance with established quality procedures.Required QualificationsCurrently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or a related field.Must continue to be enrolled in school upon completion of the co-op.Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate work.Excellent documentation and recordkeeping skills.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Ability to analyze information and solve problems in a manufacturing environment.Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.Preferred QualificationsFamiliarity with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.Interest in manufacturing, quality systems, food and beverage production, or process improvement.Previous experience in a laboratory, manufacturing, or quality-related environment is a plus.What You'll GainHands-on experience functioning as a Packaging Quality Assurance Technician and contributing meaningful work to brewery operations.Exposure to real-world quality assurance processes, product evaluation methods, and quality troubleshooting techniques.Opportunities to collaborate with Quality Assurance professionals, packaging operators, and Line Structure Team members to understand how different functions support successful production operations.Experience working within a manufacturing environment focused on product quality, food safety, and continuous improvement.Shadowing opportunities with the Brewing Lab team to gain exposure to analytical testing, laboratory operations, and brewery quality systems.Development of technical, communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills applicable to careers in quality, manufacturing, and engineering.A deeper understanding of quality-focused teamwork and the role Quality Assurance plays in supporting an efficient packaging operation.
