Job Description

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Security in Dallas, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As an Armed Security Officer at an educational location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming campus environment. You will respond to concerns, communicate professionally with students, staff, and visitors, and deliver exceptional customer service. Pay Rate: $17.94 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and campus partners while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical events, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following campus protocols and contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of campus buildings, parking areas, walkways, perimeter areas, and other assigned locations; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor access points and observe campus activity to help deter unauthorized entry, suspicious behavior, theft, vandalism, and other policy violations.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required documentation for incidents, patrol activities, and other security-related observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
