This full-time position is based in our Rehabilitation Center located in South River, New Jersey. Work Environment

You will work onsite in our modern Rehabilitation Center, which is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities designed to support advanced therapeutic practices. Expect to work a standard schedule of 40 hours per week, with some variable weekend shifts to accommodate patient needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough examinations and assessments of patients facing orthopedic issues, establishing individualized treatment plans based on their specific needs.
• Implement evidence-based treatment interventions, monitor patient progress, and adjust care strategies as necessary.
• Provide ongoing consultations to other healthcare providers about the continuum of care necessary for each patient.
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of evaluations, treatment plans, and patient interactions, adhering strictly to all compliance regulations.
• Supervise and mentor assigned support staff and therapy aides to ensure optimal patient care.
• Participate in community outreach programs and quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery.
• Engage in professional development opportunities, including attending training sessions, workshops, and continuing education programs to further hone your skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with patients of all ages who present with various orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical rehabilitations, sports injuries, and chronic pain disorders. Your role is integral in facilitating their recovery and improving their physical functioning through tailored therapeutic programs.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required, with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy preferred.
• Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure in New Jersey.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients and other team members.
• Strong understanding of current trends and best practices in orthopedic physical therapy.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation setting is highly desirable.
• Experience with electronic health record systems and documentation requirements.
• Familiarity with clinical guidelines and treatment protocols for orthopedic conditions.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
