Global Payroll Director

Overview Location: Hybrid, Pittsburgh, PA - 4 days in office, 1 WFH Job Type: Direct Hire/Permanent Work Authorization: No Sponsorship The A.C.Coy Company has an immediate need for a Global Payroll Director. This role will be critical in providing oversight for the company's global payroll operations. Ideal candidates will have experience providing expertise regarding payroll operations and compliance for a company with employees spanning multiple countries including those in Europe, East Asia, and the Middle East. Responsibilities
- Serve as subject matter expert on all payroll operations and compliance across U.S. and EMEA/APAC locations
- Manage payroll tax and wage and hour compliance
- Drive process improvements
- Establish centralized governance and standardized controls
- Manage all payroll functions including: policies, documentation standards, escalation processes, oversight of payroll operations for regional locations, local and federal laws, accuracy, and taxes
- Foster an accountability and service culture
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related
- Certified Payroll Professional designation preferred
- 10+ years of progressive payroll experience
- Prior leadership experience with a global organization
- Experience with international payroll (EMEA/APAC preferred)
- Experience partnering with legal to navigate multi-jurisdictional compliance
