About the Family: A loving family in Homewood (Birmingham, AL) is seeking a nurturing and experienced nanny to care for their newborn daughter. Mom works from home and will usually be present and available during the day. They’re hoping to find a candidate who is engaging, attentive, and knowledgeable about infant care and development milestones. Their ideal caregiver will create a stimulating, screen-free environment with plenty of interactive play. Responsibilities: Engage in age-appropriate infant care (tummy time, books, interactive toys) Bottle-feeding and bringing baby to mom for nursing Diaper changes and soothing baby as needed Light cleanup related to baby (bottles, toys, baby laundry if needed) Follow family's no screen-time policy around baby Provide attentive care while mom works from home Monitor baby while sleeping (free time for nanny during naps) Qualifications: Female nanny with experience caring for infants Knowledgeable about infant development and milestones CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to become certified) Comfortable with dogs (family has a friendly golden retriever) Reliable, communicative, and proactive
