We are seeking a Neurosurgical Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner with a RNFA to join our team! You will provide inpatient and outpatient Neurospine care, under the supervision of our Neurosurgeon.
Responsibilities:
- Provide care to Neurosurgical and Spinal patients
- Assist in a wide range of Neurosurgical operations
- Educate patients on their condition, diagnostic and treatment options
- Develop and implement patient management plans
- Limited call and weekend rounds
- Clinic visits, hospital rounds and first assistant in Neurospine operations
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a physician assistant or nurse practitioner not required
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to travel to multiple sites along the President Bush Highway
- Nurse Practitioner applicants must have a RNFA
