Assembler 1, General - El Paso, TX (Contract) About the Role: Join a mission-driven team assembling and packaging cutting-edge medical devices in a dynamic, growth-focused manufacturing environment. As an Assembler 1, you will ensure the highest quality standards and support critical healthcare operations. This is a full-time, 1st-shift opportunity (Monday-Friday, 6:00am-2:00pm) with competitive hourly pay and a supportive team culture. Interviews are conducted in person. Responsibilities: - Assemble, package, and label medical and pharmaceutical products to GMP, FDA, SOP, and ISO standards - Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment following detailed work instructions and batch records - Perform visual inspections to uphold product and packaging quality - Accurately complete production documentation, logs, and reports - Review batch records for accuracy prior to final submission - Achieve daily production targets and proactively report on production metrics such as downtime and scrap - Prepare required materials and handle non-conforming items as per procedures - Maintain a clean and organized work area, following 5S and cleanroom protocols - Rigorously follow safety requirements and utilize PPE in all operations - Communicate production issues and deviations to supervisors promptly - Support additional manufacturing activities including calibration, work orders, and validation - Assist with onboarding and training of new associates - Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and provide backup support across other areas as needed - Adhere to all company and regulatory policies Required Skills and Experience: - High School Diploma or GED - At least 4 months\' experience in a manufacturing environment - Ability to read, write, and understand basic English - Attention to detail and commitment to quality - Team-oriented with strong communication skills Preferred Skills: - Experience operating manufacturing equipment, tools, or hand/pallet jacks - Demonstrated problem-solving ability Benefits: - Stable, weekday schedule with 30-minute paid lunch - Opportunities for skill development and advancement - Positive, safety-focused workplace - Be part of a team contributing to life-saving medical products How to Apply: Attend the mandatory New Hire Orientation at 8:00am on your start date.
