Successful individuals in this role excel at both qualitative and quantitative analysis while also being eager to communicate upward and outward to tell a concise story.What You'll DoManage processes and drive engagement with key cross-functional partnersLeverage analytical methods and visualization to translate data sets into actionable insights to drive business decisions and outcomesConduct ad hoc analyses and build reporting in Google SheetsCommunicate regularly with cross functional partners to understand the health of Wayfair's supply chain network and determine ways to break down problems into action-oriented solutionsDevelop and drive adherence to sustainable long-term performance management frameworks to improve performance across multiple process paths in our supply chainMonitor key performance indicators and assess how we're making progress against our core metrics and OKRsWork cross-functionally with a variety of teams including Warehousing, Transportation, Technology, and Supplier facing teamsWhat You'll Need:0-3 years of transferable experience in a corporate environment, including internship and co-op experience.Bachelor's degree.A strong interest in emerging technology and the ability to integrate generative AI tools (e.g. Gemini) into daily tasks to drive efficiencies.Authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship by Wayfair now or in the future. Visa sponsorship includes the following work visas: STEM OPT EAD, H-1B, H-1B1, E-3, O-1, J-1, or TN.Experience with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, SQL or GBQ, and data visualization tools such as Google Data Studio (Looker, Tableau, or PowerBI).The Freight Logistics Associate is responsible for the efficient and effective coordination of freight haulage operations, ensuring the timely and secure transit of goods across the supply chain. This role involves close collaboration with carriers, warehouse personnel, and port authorities, as well as internal teams, to facilitate seamless logistical processes. The Freight Logistics Associate will analyze operational performance, identify areas for improvement, and contribute to data-driven decision-making to optimize efficiency and minimize disruptions.
