KPI’s You’ll be measured by your ability to lead, execute, and deliver in the following areas: Right People, Right Seats – Your direct reports are thriving and aligned with our Core Values. Operational Efficiency – Smooth workflows, no bottlenecks, and consistent execution across sales, scheduling, material ordering, permitting, and installations. Customer Job Flow – Pipeline is healthy, jobs are progressing, and no one is waiting too long. Profitability vs. Budget – Financial performance is hitting or exceeding budget expectations. Team Engagement – Your leadership builds trust, momentum, and alignment. Key Responsibilities: Lead + Manage + Hold Accountable (LMA) Coach and develop your team (Installation Manager, Office Manager, and Warehouse Manager) and ensure they’re aligned with our Core Values and expectations. Oversee Full Operational Workflow From customer contract to post-installation follow-up, you’ll ensure the entire customer journey is smooth, professional, and on-brand. Own your P&L, budget adherence, and margin management, working with the team to maximize profitability without compromising quality. Optimize Systems and Processes Continuously improve internal workflows to reduce friction, increase speed, and boost performance across both branches. Support Field Execution and Multi-Site Oversight Be present and visible. You’ll work out of our Waukegan branch while also overseeing our Lombard branch, and occasionally attend job sites to understand and improve field operations. If that’s you, here’s what we’d love to see: Experience: Prior success as an Operations Manager (or equivalent) in a home services or construction business that serves residential customers. Experience leading teams office admin, materials/warehouse, and field operations. A solid track record of managing a P&L and achieving budgeted profitability .
