Excellent at what you do?Don't work just anywhere. . .BE A PART OF OUR AMAZING TEAM!Tri-State Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine, a well-respected and busy orthopaedic practice, is recruiting for an enthusiastic, full-time Orthopaedic Injection Authorization Specialist looking to unlock their potential and grow by joining our already AWESOME Billing Department located in our North Hills Office (McCandless).Responsibilities of the Orthopaedic Injection Authorization Specialist include, but are not limited to:Verifying insurance benefit information for prescription coverage.Obtaining prior authorization for each injectionSubmitting prescriptions to specialty pharmacies for processingCoordinating the delivery of the medications to the physician officesScheduling patients for administration of the injectionProviding customer service support via phone for patients and/or insurance carriersQualifications: Ideal candidates must possess excellent customer service and communication skills via telephone and demonstrate the ability to work with others in various Departments, as well as independently. Candidates must also possess strong computer/typing skills, the ability to stay organized and the ability to multitask with a positive and upbeat attitude. Of the utmost importance is the ability to maintain Practice and patient confidentiality.
