Adheres to Mercy Medical Center/department policies and procedures and JCAHO/regulatory agency requirements. Demonstrates and promotes service excellence at all times.Delivers direct care to patients and creates a safe comfortable environment.Assist with selected procedures associated with admission, discharge and transfer of patients.Documentation in the Electronic Medical RecordAssists with transfer of patient to a bed, wheelchair or stretcher utilizing patient care equipment safely as neededPerforms and maintains competencies related to EKG's, glucose testing and phlebotomyParticipates in customer service activitiesQualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent requiredOne year satisfactory experience as a Nurse's Aide in a hospital or prior EMT experience preferredGood communication skills/speaks and writes clearlyBLS requiredPosted Salary RangeUSD $27.68 - USD $27.68 /Hr.The salary range or rate listed does not include any differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.At Catholic Health, we believe in a people-first approach.
