Distribution Associate
The Distribution Associate is responsible for warehouse and material distribution activities, including processing customer orders, picking and packing products, palletizing shipments, and preparing orders for shipment.
MondayFriday, 6:00 AM2:00 PM. Moderate overtime may be required based on operational needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Process customer orders by scanning barcodes, picking cases, and labeling boxes.
- Pick, scan, and palletize completed orders.
- Use RF scanners/technology to process warehouse orders.
- Verify order accuracy and properly package shipments.
- Scan completed pallets and operate a shrink wrapper when required.
- Perform dock manifest and ground/manual manifest duties as needed.
- Learn other warehouse functions and provide backup support during employee absences or vacations.
- Follow warehouse safety and operational procedures.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Previous pallet jack operation experience Required.
- Ability to obtain electric pallet jack certification.
- Ability to operate MHE and use RF scanning equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret distribution documents.
- Basic organizational, analytical, and prioritization skills.
- General knowledge of warehouse/distribution operations.
- Approximately 1 year of relevant warehouse/distribution experience is preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to walk, stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, reach, push/pull, grasp, and perform repetitive hand and wrist movements.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs. in some areas.
- Ability to work around and safely operate material handling equipment.
- Ability to climb occasionally when required.
- Must have sufficient vision and hearing to safely perform warehouse and MHE-related duties.
Work Environment
- Warehouse/distribution environment with moderate to loud noise levels.
- Regular exposure to moving mechanical equipment.
- May involve temperature changes, fumes, airborne particles, and other warehouse-related conditions.
- Must follow all applicable workplace safety procedures.
