Job Summary
ORT (Operating Room Technician) for a facility in the specified location. This role involves providing surgical support in a busy operating room environment, primarily handling orthopedic procedures, neuro, and spine cases, with some general, gynecology, urology, and ENT surgeries. The position requires working in a fast-paced setting with a focus on patient safety and surgical efficiency.

Job Details

• Certs: BLS Certification; minimum 2 years of OR experience required.
• Schedule: Rotating shifts, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: ORT (Operating Room Technician) certification, 2 years of OR experience, BLS Certification, applicable license to submit, start date of 11/09/2026, end date of 02/08/2027.
• Responsibilities include circulating in the OR (scrubbing preferred but not required), supporting orthopedic, neuro, spine, and other surgical cases, adhering to specific hospital protocols, and working within an EMR system.
• Floor specific orientation includes one week of paperwork and one week partnered with a preceptor.
• Typical case load consists of 15-25 cases per day, with approximately 20-25% inpatient cases.
• Additional notes: Anesthesia provided by anesthesiologists; critical patients directly transferred to ICU; no evenings or weekends, with one weekly call shift.
