Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for PCU patients, including ongoing assessments and monitoring
• Administer medications, manage IV therapies, and operate infusions per protocol
• Monitor telemetry, respond to changes in patient status, and escalate as needed
• Collaborate with physicians, bedside nurses, and the broader care team to adjust care plans
• Document care accurately in the electronic medical record and ensure data integrity
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and patient-handling standards to protect patients and staff

Requirements

• BSN required
• 2+ years of PCU experience
• End of Week (EOW) requirement
• Ability to work all 3 shifts per week over the 13-week period
• Active RN license in the appropriate jurisdiction (per assignment requirements)
• Ability to work in an inpatient PCU setting and follow unit protocols
