Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to PCU patients, including monitoring and ongoing assessment in a telemetry-enabled environment
• Administer medications and IV therapies, observe for adverse reactions, and document treatments accurately
• Develop and update individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team; participate in care coordination and discharge planning
• Perform procedures within scope of practice and assist with diagnostic tests and routine interventions
• Monitor patient safety, respond to changes in condition, and communicate findings to physicians and care teams
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, procedures, and post-discharge care

Requirements

• Active RN license (state-specific) required
• BSN degree required
• Minimum 2 years of PCU nursing experience
• End of Week (EOW) scheduling required; able to work all 3 shifts per week over the 13-week period (7:00am–7:00pm)
• Willingness to commit to a 13-week travel assignment with 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Ability to work in a hospital PCU setting and manage telemetry
