Epicor Lead

DescriptionThe Epicor Kinetic (Public Cloud) Techno-Functional Analyst is a key member of the IT organization responsible for supporting, optimizing, and expanding Epicor Kinetic across a manufacturing subsidiary and future operating companies.This role combines functional ERP expertise with technical configuration capabilities and serves as the primary internal Epicor subject matter expert within IT. The position will initially support a $100M manufacturing subsidiary undergoing Epicor Kinetic adoption and will evolve to support additional subsidiaries as part of a broader ERP standardization strategy.The candidate will partner closely with business stakeholders, plant leadership, IT teams, outside ERP consultants, and Epicor support resources to help ensure Epicor Kinetic remains stable, scalable, and aligned with business growth. This role will play a critical part in internal system ownership, user support, testing, training, process improvement, and post-go-live continuous improvement.Additional Skills & QualificationsFunctional Domain SupportThe candidate should have experience supporting Epicor processes in the following areas:Manufacturing & Operations• Production Management• Planning and Scheduling• Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP)• Manufacturing Execution System (MES)Supply Chain & Inventory• Purchasing Management• Inventory control and warehouse processes• Material planning and procurement workflowsCustomer & Sales Operations• Sales Order Management and fulfillment lifecycle• Quote and order-related process flow• Customer service and order visibility processesEngineering & Product Lifecycle• Engineering Management• Engineering Change Notice (ECN) workflows• BOM and revision controlQuality Management• Quality assurance processes and inspectionsFinance Process Awareness• General understanding of how Epicor operational activity impacts costing, inventory valuation, and downstream financial reporting• Ability to partner effectively with finance users without requiring deep ownership of all accounting functionsEngineering Integration• QBuild / CADLink integration with SolidWorks preferredBusiness Process Optimization• Partner with manufacturing, operations, supply chain, finance, engineering, and customer service teams to:o Analyze end-to-end business processeso Identify inefficiencies and manual workaroundso Implement system-driven improvements• Drive improvements in:o Production execution and schedulingo Inventory accuracy and traceabilityo MRP effectivenesso Purchasing and order flowo User adoption and process consistency• Promote scalable and standardized processes across subsidiaries where appropriateImplementation Partnership, Enhancements & Continuous Improvement• Partner with outside ERP consultants during implementation, rollout, stabilization, and enhancement efforts• Gather and document business requirements• Translate requirements into Epicor configuration and process recommendationsJob Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Oak Brook, IL.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $65.00 - $80.00/hr.
