Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA)Dream Dental is looking for an experienced, dependable, and energetic Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) to join our growing team in Goodlettsville, TN!We're seeking a team player who takes pride in providing excellent patient care, works well in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys being part of a collaborative dental team. If you're an experienced EFDA looking for a great opportunity with a growing practice, we'd love to hear from you!This is a full-time, 32-hour-per-week rotating schedule:Monday – ThursdayTuesday – FridayWednesday – SaturdayOpen availability for all scheduled days, including Saturdays, is required. Pay is weekly every Friday.What you'll do:Assist the doctor with restorative, surgical, and general dentistry proceduresPerform expanded functions in accordance with Tennessee regulationsFabricate and place temporary restorationsTake digital X-rays and intraoral photosUtilize digital impression scanners and other digital dentistry technologyPrepare and turn over operatories efficientlyAssist with patient education and post-operative instructionsMaintain accurate and complete clinical documentationFollow OSHA, CDC, and infection control protocolsMaintain a clean, organized, and efficient clinical environmentWork closely with doctors, hygienists, and the administrative team to create an exceptional patient experienceQualifications:Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) certification required2+ years of dental assisting experience requiredCurrent X-Ray certificationStrong knowledge of restorative, crown and bridge, implant, and general dentistry proceduresExperience with digital dentistry and dental software preferredStrong communication and organizational skillsDependable, positive, and patient-focusedComfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environmentWillingness to learn and grow within a developing practiceBenefits:Medical insuranceVision insurance401(k) with company matchPaid Time Off (PTO)Paid holidaysLife insuranceShort-term disability insuranceLong-term disability insuranceContinuing education opportunitiesCareer growth and advancement opportunitiesCompetitive pay based on experienceWeekly pay – every FridayWhy join Dream Dental?At Dream Dental, we believe great patient care starts with a great team.
