Senior Scrum MasterImmediate need for a talented Senior Scrum Master with experience in the Banking & Financial Industry. Please review the job description below.Key Responsibilities:The Scrum Master Senior must have 7-10 years of experience.The Scrum Master (Chapter Lead) Manager must have 3-5 years experience managing people.The Scrum Master Senior will be responsible for working directly with a team across the company implementing the Agile Methodology.This position requires an experienced Scrum Master with a strong understanding and hands-on experience with Agile Methods, including Scrum and preferably IBM's Disciplined Agile Delivery. This individual will be responsible for facilitating the Agile Methodology, practices and ceremonies.When engaging with an Agile Scrum Team, the Scrum Master has three overall goals in addition to removing team impediments and facilitating Agile practices:Facilitate the creation of a self-organized, self-managed team that can identify and deliver the work that can be completed in a time-boxed IterationTraining, or support the Agile Coaches training, of the team on the Client's Agile methodology, processes and controls with the intent of becoming the "Coach" of the team once they've reached a maturity level that does not require hands-on coaching.Ensure the project team adheres to the Agile Project controlsKey Requirements and Technology Experience:Minimum of Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Agile Certified Scrum Master (PMI-ACP) requiredFive or more years of direct experience in one or more aspects of Information Technology (Software design/ development, IT Architecture or other related IT areas)Five or more years of explicit experience as an Agile Scrum Master of an Agile delivery team, preferably in a variety of situations including a large enterprise, a scaled environment and a matrixed organization.Effective facilitation skillsEffective coaching and mentoring skillsAbility to thrive in a highly ambiguous, fast paced environment where priorities shift rapidlyStrong problem solving skills and ability to identify win-win solutionsEffective influence, collaboration and negotiation skillsHands-on Atlassian tool experience (Jira, Confluence), Mural and Tableau preferredAbility to breakdown complex technology concepts and present to senior leadershipConfident analyzing and adjusting team norms using Agile metrics and industry benchmarksExemplifies servant leadership by leading by example as well as being a champion of the team and of Agile principlesCreative approach to working in a remote environmentAbility to quickly identify anti-patterns and address them appropriatelyComfortable navigating difficult conversations and diffusing conflictOur client is a leading Banking & Financial Industry and we are currently interviewing to fill this and other similar contract positions.
