Registered Nurse (RN)
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU). The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a surgical unit and demonstrating flexibility by floating between various locations as needed.
Shift Information
- Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
- Total Weekly Hours: 36 hours scheduled with 24 hours guaranteed
- Ability to float between similar units as required
- Potential for weekly shift cancellation
Weekend and On-Call Requirements
- To be determined by the facility
Job Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the PCU
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing and modifying care plans as needed
- Administer medications and treatments as per established protocols
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate, detailed patient records
- Support and educate patients and their families about their care and health management
Qualifications
- Minimum of 24 months of PCU experience, with at least 12 months of recent experience
- Active state license to practice nursing
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications from approved vendors
- No disciplinary actions on state nursing license
- Travel experience is highly preferred
Profile Requirements
- Completed cover page outlining work preferences
- Up-to-date resume detailing facilities and departments worked, trauma level designations, and patient capacity
- PCU skills checklist completed within the last 12 months
- Driver's license for residency verification
