Shady Oak Dental is seeking a motivated and skilled Registered Dental Hygienist to join our expanding team in Savanna, IL. Requirements

• Basic life support
• Cardiopulmonary resuscitation

Current State Licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist
CPR Certification
Strong knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA regulations
Proficient in analyzing medical records and developing effective treatment plans
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to explain technical information to patients
Demonstrated commitment to excellent patient care and teamwork
Reliable, self-motivated, and proactive with strong organizational skills

Job Description

Perform thorough dental hygiene services including cleanings, periodontal assessments, and preventive treatments
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient medical records and prescribed protocols
Educate patients on oral hygiene, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with HIPAA and OSHA regulations
Utilize Dentrix Ascend dental software for scheduling, charting, and treatment planning (preferred)
Collaborate with dentists and clinical staff to ensure seamless patient care and optimal treatment outcomes
Uphold infection control, safety procedures, and regulatory compliance standards
Exhibit excellent customer service with a professional demeanor and patient-focused attitude
Participate in continuing education and training opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge
Work one weekend day per month (Saturday or Sunday) at the Savanna location as required

Full-time, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
