Overview Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager Job Location: Mountainside, New Jersey Company Name: Mountainside Nursing Home Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager to join our team at Mountainside Nursing Home. As a Unit Manager, you will be responsible for providing exceptional nursing care to our residents while leading a team of Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs). This is a full-time opportunity that offers a collaborative and supportive work environment. Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to assigned residents in accordance with the nursing process Direct the day-to-day functions of LPNs and CNAs, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations, and facility policies and procedures Assess and respond to resident conditions utilizing the nursing process Maintain effective communication with other members of the interdisciplinary team to ensure the highest standard of care is maintained for each resident Complete and ensure LPN and CNA documentation of care and services rendered according to facility policies and procedures Complete reports such as the 24-hour change in condition report, Incident and Accident reports, etc., according to the facility policy and procedure Ensure timely and accurate medication and treatment administration Communicate with physicians and document changes in resident condition utilizing both objective and subjective nursing assessment Document and implement changes in nursing and medical plans of care Ensure that all members of the interdisciplinary team are aware of and understand changes in resident nursing and/or medical plan of care Requirements Must be a registered nurse with a valid NJ RN license 2 years of experience preferred, but not required Strong leadership and communication skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care Benefits [Insert benefits information if provided] How to Apply If you are a motivated and caring individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care, please apply to this exciting opportunity. #J-18808-Ljbffr
