About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Profession: Nursing Specialty: Med Surg/Telemetry/Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience required. License: Must possess an active state license in Iowa and Illinois. Certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA) required. Must-Have: - Experience with chest tubes, femstops, trachs, CBIs, drains, and central lines. - Proficiency in administering and titrating medications such as Amiodarone, Cardizem, Nitro, Insulin, Heparin, Dopamine, Dobutamine, Isuprel, Milrinone, Argatroban. Description: As a member of the interdisciplinary team, the traveler contributes professional clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of care to patients. The traveler may be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses. Some on-call duties may be required, with specific compensation structure outlined. Travelers will be required to work 1-2 holiday shifts during the summer season. It is essential for candidates to submit work history and references at the time of application. A skills checklist must be completed within one year prior to submission. Candidates must provide a copy of required certifications and undergo license verification. A supervisory reference is required at the time of submission. Candidates must reside outside a defined radius from the facility.
