Maintenance Manager - Wastewater Operations Inframark O&M – Opelika, AL – 700 Fox Trail, Opelika, Alabama, United States of America What You’ll Do Lead, mentor, and develop maintenance staff to achieve high performance and safety standards. Plan, schedule, and oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities. Ensure all maintenance work is completed efficiently, safely, and on schedule. Prioritize and coordinate emergency repairs to minimize downtime. Partner with plant leadership to improve mechanical reliability and optimize systems. Implement and enhance maintenance programs, including CMMS/work order systems. Allocate resources effectively and support training and development initiatives. Contribute to performance management, including evaluations and staffing recommendations. Qualifications Proven experience supervising maintenance teams in an industrial or utility environment. Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical and electrical systems. Working knowledge of pumps, motors, instrumentation, and control systems. Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS). Excellent communication and organizational skills. Education & Experience High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate’s degree in maintenance technology (or similar) preferred. 7–10 years of maintenance experience, including hands‑on work with pumps, motors, and controls. Demonstrated experience prioritizing work and leading maintenance operations. Licenses & Certifications Valid driver’s license required. CDL is a plus. Physical Requirements Frequent walking, climbing, and stooping. Lifting up to 50 lbs. Exposure to varying weather and environmental conditions.
