The Opelika facility is USDA-inspected and produces billions of hamburger patties annually while maintaining strict food safety and quality standards. Position Overview Lead day-to-day maintenance operations within a food manufacturing facility Supervise maintenance technicians and ensure timely completion of work orders and production support activities Manage preventive maintenance programs, spare parts inventory, and equipment reliability initiatives Support production goals through downtime reduction and continuous improvement efforts Ensure compliance with OSHA, USDA, and company standards Monitor maintenance KPIs, project completion, and cost containment initiatives Leadership Responsibilities Supervise and develop a maintenance team of 10-20 employees Assign and monitor preventive maintenance activities Coordinate maintenance projects focused on productivity and reliability improvements Partner with production teams to resolve operational issues and improve processes Serve as the primary escalation point for maintenance-related concerns Compensation Salary Range: $63,000 - $95,000 Schedule Full Time 3rd Shift Requirements 3-6 years of maintenance experience REQUIRED Minimum 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience REQUIRED Experience supervising daily maintenance activities REQUIRED Experience scheduling and monitoring preventive maintenance programs REQUIRED Experience leading and mentoring maintenance personnel REQUIRED Education Up to 18 months of post-high school education in Engineering, Electronics, or related technical field from an accredited vocational, technical, or junior college Preferred Blueprint and technical drawing interpretation Equipment troubleshooting and anomaly identification Manufacturing maintenance experience OSHA and USDA knowledge Technical Knowledge Electrical Systems Hydraulic Systems Refrigeration Systems Pneumatic Systems Boiler Systems #J-18808-Ljbffr
