Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical statuses, which includes using various assessment tools to identify specific needs.
• Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans based on patients' unique conditions and recovery goals.
• Administer therapeutic interventions, such as exercises, manual therapy, and modalities, to improve mobility and alleviate pain.
• Engage in clinical teaching by mentoring physical therapy interns, residents, and junior therapists, fostering a learning environment.
• Deliver educational in-service presentations annually to peers on current orthopedic practices and treatment innovations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians and referral partners, to develop comprehensive care strategies for patients.
• Document patient progress meticulously and adjust treatment plans based on ongoing evaluations of effectiveness.
• Contribute to the organization's research efforts by supporting clinical investigations within your areas of expertise.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with orthopedic patients ranging from athletes recovering from sports injuries to elderly individuals managing chronic pain. Your commitment to personalized care will help improve the quality of life for patients across a spectrum of ages and lifestyles.

Qualifications

• A Master's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required to ensure a strong foundation in orthopedic practices.
• An active New Jersey State Physical Therapy license is mandatory to practice legally in the state.
• At least 2 years of clinical experience in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy is essential, demonstrating your ability to handle diverse patient cases effectively.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills are crucial for building rapport with patients and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
