Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess their physical capabilities and needs, ensuring a holistic approach to treatment.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results, patient goals, and best practices in orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Deliver hands-on therapeutic interventions, including stretching, strengthening exercises, and manual therapy techniques to facilitate recovery.
• Educate patients and their families on rehabilitation techniques, at-home exercise programs, and preventive measures to maintain health and prevent re-injury.
• Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals, including orthopedic surgeons and occupational therapists, to coordinate care and improve patient outcomes.
• Document patient progress accurately and promptly, using our electronic medical records system to track treatment results and communicate effectively with team members.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role will primarily focus on patients dealing with orthopedic conditions, including post-operative recovery, chronic pain, sports injuries, and degenerative disorders. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient demographic, tailoring your therapeutic methods to their specific challenges, from young athletes to senior patients recovering from joint replacement surgeries.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• Valid state licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• At least three years of relevant clinical experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting, including internships and professional practice.
• In-depth knowledge of musculoskeletal conditions and familiarity with evidence-based treatment protocols.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and an understanding of therapeutic modalities to alleviate pain and improve functional outcomes.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with advanced therapeutic techniques, such as dry needling or kinesiology taping, will be considered an asset.

Compensation and Benefits
