Work Environment

This role is set in a modern Rehabilitation Center located in Cherry Hill, a community known for its supportive environment and access to resources for health professionals. You will be working alongside a team of dedicated professionals, including a Physical Therapist Assistant and two other experienced physical therapists, all of whom prioritize patient-centric care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to identify patient needs, creating tailored treatment plans focused on achieving individual goals.
• Manage a patient caseload effectively, overseeing one patient per hour while ensuring personalized attention and care.
• Utilize proven manual therapy techniques and exercise protocols aimed at maximizing patients' range of motion and mobility.
• Develop and implement fitness and wellness plans that cater to the unique requirements of each patient, promoting holistic recovery.
• Document patient interactions and progress accurately, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and enhancing continuity of care.
• Collaborate with doctors and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care and optimize treatment outcomes.
• Monitor and assess treatment efficacy, providing patients with motivation and encouragement throughout their rehabilitation process.
• Educate patients on lifestyle modifications to reduce pain and enhance functionality, including strength and flexibility exercises.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our facility primarily serves adult patients with orthopedic conditions resulting from sports injuries, post-surgical recovery, and age-related issues affecting mobility. You will engage with a diverse population, tailoring your therapeutic approaches to meet the specific needs and preferences of each individual. By providing compassionate and knowledgeable care, you will help our patients regain their independence and lead healthier lives.

Qualifications

• Hold a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Possess a valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• Maintain a clear professional record with no disciplinary actions against your license.
• Demonstrated expertise in manual therapy and knowledge of orthopedic rehabilitation best practices.
• Proficient in EMR systems, including experience with WebPT or similar software.

Preferred Experience

While all qualified candidates are encouraged to apply, preference will be given to those with prior experience in outpatient orthopedic settings and demonstrated success in developing tailored rehabilitation programs.

Compensation and Benefits
