Work Environment

This full-time onsite position is available in our Cherry Hill facility, focusing on home care settings. In addition, you will have the flexibility of working closely with patients in various environments, including their homes, to provide personalized care strategies. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and evaluations to establish baseline physical performance levels and determine rehabilitation needs.
• Develop tailored treatment plans based on individual patient needs and rehabilitation goals, refining them as necessary based on ongoing assessments.
• Implement a variety of therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modern modalities to facilitate patient recovery.
• Document patient progress meticulously in electronic medical records, adhering to regulatory standards for compliance.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment protocols, home exercise programs, injury prevention strategies, and lifestyle modifications to enhance rehabilitation outcomes.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate comprehensive care, ensuring communication between physical therapy and other medical disciplines.
• Stay informed on the latest advancements in physical therapy practices, incorporating innovative techniques into treatment options.
• Mentor and provide guidance to less experienced staff and interns, fostering a culture of learning and professional growth.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on orthopedic cases, catering to a client base that includes individuals recovering from sports injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, and chronic pain conditions. Your expertise in designing effective rehabilitation strategies will be key in helping patients regain their mobility and achieve a higher quality of life. Understanding the psychosocial aspects of recovery will also be crucial in addressing our clients' comprehensive needs.

Qualifications

• Current Physical Therapist license in the state of New Jersey.
• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program; Doctorate or Master's degree preferred.
• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in physical therapy, particularly with orthopedic patients.
• Strong understanding of therapeutic techniques and ability to evaluate patient capabilities effectively.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to foster relationships with patients and their families.
• Capacity to work independently, as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care and professional integrity.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in home care therapy settings is preferred.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records systems and documentation best practices.
• Previous mentoring or supervisory experience is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges between $110,000 to $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
