Work Environment

As a full-time Orthopedic Physical Therapist working onsite, you will be part of our well-equipped outpatient office, which is designed to facilitate effective treatment and collaboration with colleagues. Our clinic offers a variety of modalities and rehabilitation technologies, creating a comprehensive environment for therapy and patient engagement. Your typical work schedule will be Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for work-life balance while dedicating your expertise to patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to formulate effective treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
• Implement diverse treatment techniques including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities to enhance patient mobility and strength.
• Design functionally specific fitness and wellness programs to support rehabilitation and enhance overall health.
• Motivate and educate patients about their rehabilitation journeys, helping them understand their conditions and promoting adherence to treatment plans.
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and optimize patient outcomes.
• Monitor patient progress meticulously, adjusting treatment protocols based on comprehensive evaluations and patient feedback throughout their therapy sessions.
• Advocate for a healthy lifestyle by encouraging practices that improve strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination among patients.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and training to stay updated with the latest advancements in physical therapy practices within the orthopedic field.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your patient population will primarily consist of individuals experiencing musculoskeletal injuries and disorders. This includes post-operative rehabilitation patients, those with chronic pain conditions, and athletes recovering from injuries. You will work closely with each patient, developing personalized treatment goals and strategies designed to enhance their recovery process and functional living.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field is required, with a preference for candidates holding a Master's Degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active state licensure as a Physical Therapist is mandatory.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in orthopedic rehabilitation is required, demonstrating proficiency in treating various musculoskeletal conditions.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, their families, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Ability to adapt to various patient personalities and manage their treatment expectations with empathy and professionalism.

Preferred Experience

• Hands-on experience with advanced treatment technologies and methods, including dry needling, therapeutic ultrasound, or neuromuscular reeducation will be beneficial.
• Experience in developing community health initiatives or workshops is a plus.
• Prior experience working in an outpatient setting where patient satisfaction and outcome metrics are a focus.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $110,000 to $130,000 (USD) depending on experience and qualifications. Additional benefits include:
