Project Executive

Location : Atlanta, GA Reports to : Regional VP of Operations Employment Type : Full-Tim e About the Ro leOur client, a Tier 1 General Contract or with a rapidly growing data center portfolio, is seeking a Project Executi ve to lead delivery of large-scale, mission-critical data center projects across the Atlanta market. This is a senior leadership role overseeing a portfolio of projects, with direct accountability for client relationships, financial performance, and operational execution in one of the country's fastest-growing data center market s.The ideal candidate brings hands-o n data center construction experien ce — including mission-critical systems, hyperscale or colocation environments, and the accelerated schedules and complex MEP coordination these projects demand — along with established relationships across the Atlanta/Southeast data center ecosystem (hyperscalers, developers, MEP trade partners, and commissioning agents ). Key Responsibilit iesProvide senior oversight and leadership across a portfolio of data center construction projects, from preconstruction through closeo ut.Serve as the primary executive point of contact for owners, developers, and hyperscale/colocation clien ts.Own project financial performance across the portfolio, including forecasting, margin protection, and risk manageme nt.Lead and mentor Senior Project Managers, Project Managers, and Superintendents across assigned projec ts.Oversee complex MEP coordination, commissioning (Cx), and mission-critical systems integration specific to data center delive ry.Manage accelerated, fast-track schedules typical of hyperscale and colocation builds, including phased turnover and early energization strategi es.Partner with business development and preconstruction teams to pursue and win new data center work in the Atlanta/Southeast mark et.Build and maintain relationships with hyperscale clients, developers, utility partners, and specialty MEP/commissioning subcontracto rs.Ensure compliance with client-specific quality, safety, and security protocols common to mission-critical environmen ts.Represent the company in client presentations, industry events, and market-facing engagemen ts.Drive continuous improvement in data center delivery processes, standards, and best practices across the regi on.Qualificati ons12+ years of construction leadership experience, with substantial time deliveri ng data center / mission-critical proje c ts.Experience with a Tier 1 GC strongly preferr ed.Established relationships within the Atlanta/Southeast data center market — hyperscalers, developers, MEP trades, and commissioning partne rs.Deep understanding of mission-critical systems (power, cooling, redundancy/Tier ratings, commissioning processe s).Proven track record managing large, fast-track, multi-project portfolios and complex client relationshi ps.Strong financial acumen — experience owning P&L across a portfolio of projec ts.Demonstrated leadership developing and mentoring project tea ms.Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experienc e).Willingness to be based in or relocate to Atlan ta.What's On Of ferExecutive-level leadership role in one of the fastest-growing data center markets in the U .S.Highly competitive base salary + executive bonus struct ureFull executive benefits package (medical, dental, vision, 401(k) match, equity/LTI where applicab le)Platform to grow and shape the region's data center prog #J-18808-Ljbffr MKL Careers
