The Clinical Support Associate performs various general clerical, communicative, and support services tasks to nursing, medical, and other staff members on the nursing unit. Qualifications: H.S diploma or general education degree (GED) required 1-2 years of related/clerical experience required Familiarity with medical terminology required Work schedule: 24 hours/eves shift (3:00pm-11:30pm), rotating weekends and holidays Gaylord nursing units offer a variety of skills such as: Milne units: Step down/progressive care unit of level of care includes: Continuous telemetry monitoring Ventilator support and weaning LVAD patient population Heart transplant population Lyman 1 & Hooker 1: Medical units offer skills such as: Stroke Complex wounds Telemetry Pulmonary care Lyman 2 & Hooker 2: Specialty units are CARF accredited with a focused patient population: Traumatic brain injury Stroke Spinal cord injury Benefits to working at Gaylord include: Voted top 100 workplaces in CT in 2021, 2022, and 2023!
