Job Summary

We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented Inspector Packers to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will work at the end of a production line that manufactures plastic and foam cups, clamshell containers, condiment cups, and other food packaging products. You will inspect finished products, accurately count and package materials, and prepare products for shipment while maintaining quality, safety, and productivity standards.

Responsibilities

• Inspect plastic and foam food packaging products to ensure quality standards are met.
• Count products accurately according to production specifications and packaging requirements.
• Package products into sleeves or bags and properly seal them for shipment.
• Assemble boxes, pack finished products, and stack completed boxes onto skids.
• Use a manual pallet jack to move products and skids throughout the production area.
• Enter production information into a computer, update quantities, and document quality concerns.
• Rotate between inspection, packaging, and staging stations as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing, production, packing, or inspection experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify product defects.
• Ability to stand for an entire shift and perform repetitive tasks.
• Ability to lift and move up to 25 lbs. on a regular basis.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and production tracking.

Work Environment

• Manufacturing facility producing food packaging products.
• Warm to hot production environment with machine-generated heat.
• Loud facility; hearing protection is required.
• Standing for the majority of the shift.
• Repetitive hand and arm movements throughout the day.
• Required PPE includes hair net, safety glasses, and ear plugs.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Leola, PA.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
