Project Manager

Role Description The Project Manager is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Addison, IL, responsible for overseeing architectural millwork and custom cabinetry projects from planning through delivery. This role manages schedules, coordinates with internal teams and external partners, and ensures materials, shop drawings, and production timelines align with project requirements. Daily responsibilities include tracking project milestones, monitoring quality and inspections, resolving logistical issues, and maintaining clear communication with clients and vendors. The Project Manager will also handle expediting of critical items, update project documentation, manage change orders, and support continuous improvement of processes to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and to quality standards. Qualifications Project coordination and oversight skills, including Project Management and Expediting experience. Experience working as an Expeditor and managing Expediting tasks to keep materials and deliverables on schedule. Inspection skills to review work quality, verify compliance with specifications, and support final approvals. Logistics Management capabilities to organize shipments, deliveries, and material handling for multiple projects. Knowledge of construction or architectural millwork environments, with the ability to read and interpret plans and shop drawings. Strong organizational, time management, and problem‑solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy. Effective written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with clients, vendors, and cross‑functional teams. Proficiency with project management software and basic office applications (e.g., MS Office, scheduling tools). Relevant education or training in construction management, architecture, engineering, or a related field; equivalent experience considered.
