Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive ICU nursing care to critically ill patients, including monitoring hemodynamics, ventilator management, and medication administration
- Respond quickly to clinical changes and implement treatment plans under physician and multidisciplinary team guidance
- Perform ongoing patient assessments, document observations and interventions in the electronic health record
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and support staff to coordinate care and ensure patient safety
- Administer and titrate IV medications and hemodynamic drips per protocol
- Educate family members on patient status, treatments, and post-discharge expectations

Requirements
- One year of critical care experience preferred
- PALS certification required
- CAPS credentialing requirement; may take up to two weeks to obtain (see
- Ability to obtain all required credentials and clearances within two weeks
- Ability to work in a fast-paced ICU setting and to participate in a 3x12 night shift schedule
- Willingness to commit to a 13-week assignment
- Location: Vail, Colorado; ability to work in a high-acuity environment
