Materials Manager Details:
- Direct Hire position
- $ 120,000.00 to $ 125,000.00 / annually
- First Shift (Monday through Friday from 07:00am to 04:30pm)
- Lead production scheduling, material planning, and inventory control activities to ensure on-time customer delivery while supporting manufacturing output, capacity, and business objectives.
- Manage procurement and replenishment of raw materials through MRP systems, ensuring the right materials are available at the right time to meet production demands.
- Develop and execute inventory management strategies that optimize inventory levels, improve material flow, and support cost-saving initiatives.
- Supervise and develop the Materials team, providing leadership, performance management, workload planning, and continuous improvement support in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Build strong relationships with suppliers and customers while monitoring delivery performance, coordinating prototype and production requirements, and ensuring 100% on-time delivery objectives are met.
Materials Manager Qualifications:
- 5-10 years of supply chain or materials management experience in a manufacturing environment, with automotive experience preferred.
- Demonstrated success managing production schedules, raw material planning, inventory levels, and customer delivery performance.
- Experience utilizing MRP/ERP systems to drive material availability, inventory accuracy, and operational efficiency.
- Proven people leadership skills with experience developing, coaching, and managing materials, planning, or supply chain teams.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, plus a strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
