Make a meaningful difference in the classroom for students who require additional support to reach their highest potential. This full-time contract position is ideal for a passionate educator skilled in Special Education and ESL, fluent in Spanish, and experienced in serving diverse student populations. Serving grades K–8 with an average caseload of 30 students, you’ll work closely with students and colleagues to implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) focused on both academic and social-emotional growth.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid LBS1 Teacher Certification and PEL
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
• 1–5 years of successful classroom teaching experience
• Proven ability to deliver engaging lessons targeting multiple literacy concepts
• Experience supporting low-incident LD/ED students preferred
• Commitment to high standards and continuous professional growth
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Initiative, flexibility, and creativity in adapting to evolving priorities
• Fluent in Spanish

In this role, you will:

• Deliver instruction aligned with curriculum guidelines and IEP objectives
• Provide academic, emotional, and physical assistance to students with identified needs
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a supportive and inclusive classroom environment
• Monitor student progress, adapting interventions to promote socially appropriate behavior
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to IEP implementation
• Serve as a resource for best practices in literacy and differentiated instruction
• Travel between assigned locations as needed
