Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

We are actively seeking a culturally responsive Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to provide compassionate, person-centered care within a community-based health center. This role is ideal for a clinician committed to social justice, health equity, and improving access to behavioral healthcare for diverse and historically underserved populations. Key Responsibilities Conduct psychiatric evaluations, mental status exams, and risk assessments Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients and the interdisciplinary care team Provide crisis intervention and support medication-assisted treatment Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation Qualifications Active New York State Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner license Master of Science in Nursing and appropriate psychiatric certification DEA registration and BLS/CPR certification Experience treating mental health, substance use, and co-occurring conditions Demonstrated cultural competence and experience serving racially, culturally, economically, and clinically diverse communities Strong commitment to social justice, health equity, and trauma-informed care #J-18808-Ljbffr
