As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic educational location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to students, staff, and visitors. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.40 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon: 11:30 AM - 05:30 PM Tue: 11:30 AM - 05:30 PM Wed: 11:30 AM - 05:30 PM Thur: 11:30 AM - 05:30 PM Fri: 11:30 AM - 05:30 PM What You'll Do Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, campus concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to established protocols. Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of academic buildings, residence areas, parking facilities, grounds, and perimeter locations. Monitor for unusual activity, report security-related hazards or maintenance concerns, and help to deter unauthorized access through visible patrol presence. Assist with access control, directions, event support, and other campus security-related duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
